Sigma Aerospace Workforce is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Armament to support Hawk Lead-In Fighter maintenance at Williamtown, NSW.
This permanent role is suited to an AME with armament trade experience who is confident working in a Defence fast jet maintenance environment. You will support aircraft systems maintenance, documentation, safety discipline and operational maintenance requirements on the Hawk LIF program.
- Carry out armament and aircraft systems maintenance tasks in line with approved procedures
- Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in a Defence fast jet environment
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and follow safety requirements
- Work with maintenance teams to support aircraft availability and operational outcomes

Aircraft maintenance experience in an armament, weapons systems or aircraft systems maintenance role. Defence aviation, fast jet or military aircraft experience will be highly regarded.
Relevant Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualification, armament trade background or equivalent Defence aviation maintenance training.
Must have Australian work rights and be able to satisfy Defence site access requirements.
Must be based at Williamtown, NSW, or willing to relocate. Relocation support is available for suitable candidates.
Ability to obtain and maintain required Defence, security and site access clearances. Current driver’s licence preferred.
Strong maintenance discipline, technical fault-finding ability, sound documentation practices, and confidence working around aircraft armament and related systems.
Safety-first, reliable, professional, team-focused and able to work to approved procedures in a regulated Defence maintenance environment.
