Sigma Aerospace Workforce is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Structures to support F-35 Defence aviation maintenance at Williamtown, NSW.
This permanent role is suited to an experienced Structures AME with Certificate IV Aeroskills qualifications, strong maintenance discipline and the ability to work in a structured MRO environment supporting Defence aviation operations.
- Carry out aircraft structures maintenance tasks in line with approved maintenance data and procedures
- Support scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities
- Inspect, repair and maintain aircraft structural components and assemblies
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow Defence aviation maintenance requirements
- Work safely as part of a high-performing engineering and maintenance team

Minimum 4+ years’ aircraft maintenance experience in a structures role. Defence aviation, fast jet, F-35 or structured MRO experience will be highly regarded.
Certificate IV in Aeroskills - Structures required.
Must have Australian work rights and be able to satisfy Defence aviation employment and site access requirements.
Permanent relocation to Newcastle / Williamtown, NSW is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain NV1 security clearance. Current driver’s licence preferred.
Strong aircraft structures maintenance knowledge, repair discipline, documentation accuracy, and confidence working to approved procedures in a regulated aircraft maintenance environment.
Safety-first, reliable, professional, team-focused and able to work effectively within a structured Defence aviation maintenance team.
