Sigma Aerospace Workforce is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers for fixed wing and rotary wing maintenance opportunities across Australia.
These roles are suited to qualified AMEs with aviation maintenance experience who are open to FIFO touring work. Australian, Canadian and FAA-licensed AMEs may be considered, provided qualifications are equivalent and acceptable for the role requirements.
- Carry out aircraft maintenance tasks in line with approved maintenance data and procedures
- Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across fixed wing or rotary wing operations
- Assist with inspections, rectification and defect troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and follow safety requirements
- Work safely within regulated aviation maintenance environments across Australia

Aircraft maintenance experience in a fixed wing or rotary wing aviation environment.
Certificate IV in Aeroskills, Diploma of Aeroskills, Canadian AME licence, FAA A&P licence, or equivalent aviation maintenance qualification acceptable to the operator and role requirements.
Must have Australian work rights or the required visa/work eligibility for Australian aviation maintenance work.
Must be available for FIFO touring roles across Australia. Flights and accommodation are arranged.
Valid ASIC or ability to obtain may be required depending on the role location. Current driver’s licence preferred.
Strong aircraft maintenance knowledge, practical fault-finding ability, sound documentation habits, and confidence working to approved maintenance procedures.
Safety-first, reliable, adaptable, practical and able to work effectively in touring maintenance environments.
