Sigma Aerospace Workforce is seeking an NDT Technician for a short-term contract supporting C-27J aircraft inspections at Amberley, QLD.
This approx. 1-month engagement is suited to an experienced NDT technician who can work to approved inspection procedures, maintain accurate records and support Defence aircraft maintenance outcomes on a 4-day week, day shift roster.
- Carry out NDT inspections on C-27J aircraft and related components
- Work to approved inspection procedures, maintenance data and safety requirements
- Record inspection findings clearly and accurately
- Support maintenance teams with defect identification and reporting
- Work safely in a regulated Defence aviation maintenance environment

NDT inspection experience in an aviation, Defence, aircraft maintenance or regulated technical environment. C-27J or military aircraft experience will be highly regarded.
Relevant NDT qualification, certification or competency required for the inspection methods being performed.
Must have Australian work rights and be able to satisfy Defence site access requirements.
Must be available to work at Amberley, QLD, for an approx. 1-month contract on a 4-day week, day shift roster.
Ability to meet required Defence, security and site access requirements. Current driver’s licence preferred.
Strong NDT inspection discipline, attention to detail, accurate reporting, sound documentation habits, and confidence working to approved procedures.
Safety-first, precise, reliable, professional and able to work effectively with aircraft maintenance teams in a Defence environment.
